Our natural plant extracts can be mixed regularly in the food of most lizards or herbivorous turtles, or partially herbivorous. Nutritinal osteofibrosis usually occurs when one feeds his lizard with food that have a poor phosporus-calcium ratio (a lot of phosphorus, little calcium), but also when lighting is unsuitable (UVB).
Veterinarians advise giving foods that contain a level of Ca/P greater or equal then 1.5 (a concentration of at least 1.5 times more calcium than phosphorus).
We therefore selected plants that benefit to the health of your animal and whose Calcium / Phosphorus ratio is greater than 2.
100% natural unprocessed ingredients: Plantain 40% (Ca / p > 3,50), Dandelion 30% (Ca / p > 2.3), Alfalfa 30% (Ca / p > 6)
Product use: Start with small amounts to accustom your lizard or turtle.
Dosage: half a teaspoon for a vegetable ration several times a week.
